The music classroom is a safe place that has room for all students. We are in need of a 30 square rug so that all students have a place to sit their body. Personal space is necessary for classroom organization and inspired learning. Students respond well to routine and clear guidelines. This new rug would provide what we are missing now. Everyone belongs on the rug! A space for all. We also would love to have a few floor drums. The students love to play the drums. Right now we have a limited amount and the students are taking turns and waiting. The waiting can create a lull in classroom management and also in enthusiasm.
