Every year, our students are involved in semester projects that have them create different forms of art. This past year, we developed podcasts to showcase their passions, paper mache heads/masks to develop their own creative story, and investigated how food can impact our bodies and how we feel. To continue to engage the students in activities that appeal to the visual, kinesthetic, and auditory learners, it is important for them to have materials or tools that can help support their learning. The Raised Garden Beds and tools that I am asking for will help alleviate the cost for myself and will allow the students the access to complete these projects. Some of the projects we have in the works are: a farm-to-table garden so students can earn money for growing vegetables or fruits that will be sold in their schools (items needed: tools, tote bags for tools, and planter boxes) and art based projects (items needed: paint) to help students showcase their creativity and ideas.
