Attending school remotely poses numerous challenges for students. Learning to use a Chromebook and attend class can be especially difficult for younger students. First graders are still learning to hold a pencil correctly, identify letters and numbers, and be an active participant in a classroom community. The first grade team is hoping to supply each first grade student with a mouse to use with their Chromebook. By supplying each first grade student a mouse to use with their Chromebook for remote learning, we hope to make the transition from in school to remote learning easier for them! During remote learning, students are asked to attend and participate in online discussions via Google Meet. In addition, they complete assignments and activities online using their Chromebooks. Having a mouse to use with their Chromebooks would make accessing the online forums much easier!
