My students need extra storage space for their materials such as daily classwork composition journals, writing materials, reading workshop books, etc. It is part of our shared vision (class contract) to keep our room a clean, organized, and safe environment. The students love to come into a clean and organized classroom everyday. It's a great way to start off the day. This will improve their organizational skills inside the classroom. My students ask me all the time if they can buy me some bins to put their materials in so I would love it for their wish to come true! My students do have cubbies to store their materials in, however, there is still not enough room in the cubbies as my students share a designated spot with another student. My students also respond very well with positive rewards in the classroom. My students need a variety of prizes that will be used as rewards for good behavior, academics and other incentives.
