My students are always broken in to small groups for collaborative learning structures. They love the flexible seating options we already have in class that include bean bags, stools, computer chairs, and coffee tables. Students want to be able to move from activity to activity and bring the stool with them. Flexible seating allows my students to collaborate at all times without intrusion. Technology is another key area where my students excel. They know how to use, and enjoy using, technology to conduct research, create multimedia projects, and to improve authentic literacy in our classroom. We need more technology in our room. Our current classroom is a work in progress, and we are so excited to see where we end up!
