I teach an array of subjects such as Broadcasting, Creative Writing, Theater, and English Language Arts. I implement education in my classroom by appealing to all types of learners whether they are visual, auditory, kinesthetic, reading/writing, etc. I provide different activities and lessons that reaches every student in my classroom to meet their needs. There are several supplies needed that benefit my students by providing a clean, safe environment for maximum learning abilities. It's important to supply the tools for creativity to reach its highest level in each and every student. I love providing opportunities in my classroom that appeals to all of my students and sets them up for success every single day. All of my students, and any student in any school for that matter, will benefit from items such as tissues, hand sanitizer, and band-aids. All of my classes will also use basic school supplies like tape, construction paper, scissors, markers, etc. Coming from a technology driven district, each student has their own Dell Venue laptop which brings issues of charging - power strips will be a huge asset for my classroom to solve this problem. When we're not using technology, I like to introduce hands-on projects in my classroom. Theater class makes their own props for plays. Creative Writing and English classes do lots of crafty projects pertaining to novels, short stories, and poetry. I love giving my students the opportunity to be creative and tear away from the computer screen to have some fun in the classroom!
