I am requesting a concert bass drum for my students. In a concert band setting, the bass drum plays a very important rhythmic role in addition to adding color and depth to the sound of our ensemble. It is the foundation to our percussion section. Next to the snare drum, it is also the most used drum in the percussion section. By donating to this project you will help my students bring the color, depth of sound, and the foundation to our ensemble. This will enhance the environment not only in the classroom, but on the concert stage as well. This project will help improve, increase students attention and focus. It will ultimately increase their academic achievement to become successful musicians.

About my class
