The Samsung tablets and printer requested will allow teams of students to participate in a mix of online and traditional face-to face instruction. This is called Blended Instruction, which combines classroom learning with online learning. With this model, students can, in part, control the amount of time spent learning and the pace of the learning. Blended learning is transforming eduction. It is causing a shift in the responsibilities of both the teacher and the students. By allowing students to view videos and learning resources online, students are taking responsibility for their own learning, and the teacher is free to help small groups of students apply or practice the learning.
