By funding this project, my students will walk into a class where they can be successful writers, while using the pencils and highlighters to take annotations, and great mathematicians, solving math on graph paper and using the cubes to bring math to life. Since most of my students come from low income families, us providing them with materials and tools needed to succeed in the classroom takes away their worries while in school, and allows them to focus on what they need to do as Leaders. It is unfortunate how many students have come to me stating they didn't do their homework because they have no pencils at home or come to school carrying their staff because they have no backpack. Please let's make a difference for these kids!
