Hello! I love teaching eighth grade science at Andersen. The eighth grade science standards focus on Earth and space science topics, which truly help students understand the how and why of the world around them. We start the school year learning about weather processes, wind, precipitation, seasons, and storms. Then we investigate earthquakes, volcanoes, land forms and rock formation. We finish up the year exploring our solar system. As you can see, we take quite the journey over the course of a school year.
