How can students be introduced to other cultures and walks of life without the stories and voices of other people? With a little help, my classroom and library will be a place where students can peruse a wide variety of genres, from today's must-read books to books that are inclusive of other cultures and ways of life. By donating, you are helping me create a classroom filled with books and tech that will encourage students to practice their literacy skills as well as further their fluency and cultural competency in more than one language. Middle school is a time where many students begin exploring their identities and figuring out who they really are as a people. Books and tech have always been a great avenue of exploration. You can help us create a library that will help inspire my students, encourage them to explore other cultures, learn more about history, and continue their enjoyment of learning.
