I feel that the needs of all students need to be met within a classroom. With this being said, a projector is an essential tool within my classroom. Students who learn better visually will greatly benefit from having a projector in the classroom. A projector has the ability to transport students anywhere! We can travel the globe by watching Google Earth videos, travel to other third grade classrooms to visit virtual pen pals, the possibilities are endless. A projector will be useful in all aspects of the curriculum, from Math to ELA, Science to Social Studies. Visual learners will greatly benefit from being able to "see" what they are learning. All learners are able to be more engaged in the learning process by using a multi-sensory approach aided by the projector.
