Our school has a 120 minute block devoted to literacy. During this time, I have centers set up for students to work independently and in small groups while I am working with a small group. Literacy centers provide an opportunity for students to practice reading skills and strategies already taught in my classroom. The materials in this project will provide a variety of hands-on activities that will allow for differentiation to meet the needs of all students. The magnetic letters, letter tiles and stamps will keep my students engaged and learning. Kindergarten students are so excited about reading.The rug and bean bag chair will provide a comfortable place to read. My goal as an educator is to instill the love the learning into my students so they are successful in the classroom and in life. These materials will be a good basis to achieve this!!
