We are requesting an iPad and case. Our program needs an iPad to improve our students cognitive and communication skills. There are a plethora of learning based apps available for young students with disabilities that can be accessed through the use of an iPad. With assistive technology, such as the augmentative communication app LAMP, non-verbal students with autism can learn to communicate expressively. Additionally, the iPad is an amazing tool for teachers to collect data in order to improve instruction for their students! The sooner children with a diagnosis of autism receive quality intervention, the better their outcomes for the future. Please contribute to this project to assist our young students in learning the communication and academic skills they need to be successful in preschool and consequently throughout their lifetime. You can make an impact now!
