With these materials I can have more kids actively engaged and involved playing outside games at recess. I ordered giant blocks for kids to build creations. This would be the first time we would have this kind of activity for the kids to do outside. I added playground rubber balls for the kids to play throw and catch with a partner. I also ordered potato sacks to have races with in the grass. I also added a caterpillar climbing structure for he kids to climb on. I also ordered some stepper toys for the kids to walk on. It is always fun to see kids use their imaginations when having outdoor time. With having the school being a Health Science School I believe to see the kids have more exercise and activities for them to play and get fit at the same time. With these new items there will be cooperative games for the kids to play with each other. Kids need to know how to play and take turns with one another. This will be a great addition to the playground!
