Hello! My name is Laura Workman and I teach kindergarten in an urban school district. I have always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher and truly feel called to this position. I love every moment with my littles. I attempt to engage every child in my class with exciting lessons, a warm and welcoming environment, and a loving heart. Every child in my school receives a free breakfast and free lunch. They also receive a healthy snack three times each week. Even though our children are economically challenged, it is my goal that each student does not measure their personal worth this way. It is very important that my children each understand how special they are and how valuable they are to me and our society. I endeavor to make learning fun and contagious! I thank you in advance for helping me achieve this dream!
