Hi there!!! I am Mrs. Newcome. I teach 2nd grade at Burke Street Elementary School in Martinsburg, WV. I have been teaching going on 3 years and every year is an exciting journey. I enjoy the fact that I have the opportunity to inspire and encourage students to accomplish goals that they may feel are out of reach. I like to make my students feel like they are apart of a classroom family. We learn to look to each other for guidance to work towards goals. One thing I strongly believe in is that students may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.
