My kindergarten students would really benefit from having a cozy area to go to read and relax. Kindergarten can often be overwhelming for some children. Having a relaxing place to go and relax is very important. I want to create an inviting literacy area where students can relax and unwind and get lost in a good book. The extra wide comfy couch will comfortably seat 4 children at a time. I want them to have more quality literature selections. I also want to enrich and deepen their level of understanding by giving them puppets and flannel board pieces to retell stories with. The items I've requested would benefit young children for many years to come.
