Our house and block center currently have bare tile floors. Imagine building the block tower of your wildest 5-year-old-dreams then having the bottom slide out from under it! Imagine immersing yourself in character play as Little Red Riding Hood embarking on a journey through the forest... on a cold white tile floor. Not quite what Kindergarten is made of, right? Exactly! We'd love to have soft, colorful, engaging, inspiring places to play in our house and block centers. These two rugs will fulfill those dreams. The blue rug will be the sky, the water, the river, and the path to imaginative play in our house/dramatic play center. The Block Party rug will be just that-- the space to have a Block Party (or a Castle Party, or a Zoo Party, or an Airport Party, or a Racetrack Party)... whatever our future builders, engineers, architects, and problem solvers can create in our block center.
