My students will be able to use the Chromebooks to explore letters and numbers. They could also learn about the world around them. I feel that by letting them use the Chromebooks they can tap a different modality of learning. They can explore letter shapes and sounds by using alphabet games. They can use reading programs to listen to books and complete activities that tie into our everyday learning. They can explore animals, planets, and other countries to improve their knowledge about the world. They can also use the chromebooks to explore numbers on a daily basis. The headphones will allow them to listen without interrupting other students that are working on other literacy activities while I work to meet small groups depending on their learning abilities.
