My students are in need of more laptops to help them be successful in the FIRST robotics competition. Additional laptops will allow more students to work together to design, program, and build a robot. Our team needs to build and drive a robot through a course and be able to pick up and move blocks. Coding is the future and having students learn to successfully code starting in middle school will give them valuable skills for the future. With multiple laptops we will be able to teach more students to code and interact with a robot. Each year our team grows and we are getting more and more females interested in science and math. Many people think robotics is like Battlebots but it is so much more than that. These laptops will help us take our robot to the next level and hopefully help us to grow our team next year. Our team is a family and we want to keep growing and get more students interested in coding and robotics.
