These materials will give the students real world practice they need to compete in this year's statewide reading competition. Having access to & using the classroom buzzers would give my students the virtual experience of being at Valdosta State University, which is where the competition is held each year. Practicing with the technology will help build the students' confidence in their ability to perform adequately. Using the Game Show Controllers & Buzzers will also raise the level of importance of the competition and make them feel like what they are attempted to do matters, not only to their teachers but also their entire community.

About my class
