Since I am a first year teacher, I do not have many materials for my classroom. Thankfully my family has been helpful in donating books and supplies to my cause, but I need your help as well! Having tables in a classroom is great for collaboration and promoting students social and interpersonal skills. I was excited to see that my classroom has tables, but unhappy about the lack of storage and opportunities for organization. Organization is vital in creating a positive classroom culture where supplies are readily accessible and students know the lay of the land. I hope to have a very organized classroom where students know where to find materials and to promote organizational skills within themselves. Chair sacks and book bins will be a huge organizational saver in my classroom!
