Many students need to move their bodies to do their best learning. In my room they are given the opportunity to choose a flexible seating option to do their work in a way that works for them. Movement throughout the school day is one of the best things for active learning and brain stimulation. My students shared that being able to move around while sitting with their peers was helpful. Hokki stools are comfortable, sturdy stools that allow movement for students. Being able to move while sitting down helps many children who normally can't sit still or who have special needs stay seated and focus on learning and assignment completion.
