The materials that I am requesting will be a great source for my scholars to track their finances. The bean bags will provide my scholars with comfortable seating to maximize their learning abilities. With technology being a prominent resource in today's society, the tablets donated will provide my scholars with an opportunity to interactive using their online financial program to master the financial literacy. At my institution, scholars are assigned a business project where our scholars get into groups and create their own business. The tablets will give scholars an opportunity to create spreadsheets to monitor and track the finances of themselves and their peers. The donations of the bean bag chairs will allow my scholars to comfortably work and improve their competency in an authentic, meaningful way. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. My priority as a teacher is promote life-long learners. I would like to emphasize to my scholars that financial literacy is something that you will see not only in the classroom but throughout life (budgeting for vacations, taking a trip to the store, purchasing a car, etc.).
