2nd grade curriculum requires the use of technology for research and projects. Having at least 3 tablets assessable to my students would help with group and individual research activities. Students are so interested in technology and love to learn with it. When every student is an active researcher, the entire class benefits from this constructiveness. The tablets will also allow customization within apps, so that I can hear each device for an individual student. The tablets will also allow my ELL students to work on a pre-assigned task, such an ebook or an activity on basic literary apps. They will provide leadership skills and allow the students to build relationships.
