I am requesting headphones, pens, and an easel all for our writing center in class, more specifically, editing. Students will be able to master the fine art of writing in a variety of styles including both fictional and information pieces. With headphones, we will be able to write using mixed media as a way to enhance our writing! With red pens students will be able to not only hold themselves accountable, but assist others in editing their pieces to become stronger writers. The easel will be used to work in small group, to aid students who are struggling with a skill in a smaller setting so they are more comfortable. The easel will also be a way to remind us of all our necessary components for our writing.
