Having the option of alternative seating, gives the students more choices. Often in the classroom environment, students are asked to sit for long periods of time. With alternative seating such as these Gaiam Ball Chairs, students will be able to move more freely and make choices of where they want to sit to complete their work. Students will have the option of using the ball chairs to sit at their desks and complete their work. Instead of your average everyday chair, the Gaiam Ball Chairs will allow more flexibility and movement for the children. The option of different seating will benefit students who love to move around the classroom to work. It will also give the students an opportunity to maintain healthy postures and healthy attitudes! Empowering students with the opportunity to make choices, will help them become more independent and successful in the classroom. As squirrelly third graders, we would love to be able to have Gaiam Ball Chairs in our classroom!
