ARCHES students are upper level preparing for a life beyond high school. They work internships; learn the necessary life skills to manage their finances, their relationships and, on occasion, their social lives. The social experiences of Special Needs students are often limited to the day in and day out of school and when school is no longer available, isolation and loneliness can set in. While the Indiana Repertory Theater is 10 blocks from the high school, it might as well be a world away. Providing students with the opportunity to experience the theater; to see the words from the paper come to life, is more than just an afternoon in a darkened room. It's the chance to see a different possibility. To recognize the promise of hope.
