My Computer Tech class is project based and 90% on computers. Students work on projects in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pages, Comic Life, Garage Band, iWeb & iMovie. They also learn to type. Through student centered projects students learn about technology and create awesome projects. It is very important that every student has working equipment so they can explore the computer applications & projects with 100% effectiveness. It's difficult to learn when the equipment isn't working correctly and creating a road block before class even starts. I want all student to have an equal chance to explore technology on cutting edge equipment. Students need working keyboards so they can learn to type & explore all of the fun programs in Computer Tech.
