School is a safe haven from the life most of these children lead, so I want my students to have an impact that will last a lifetime. I am a special education teacher and some of the children I will teach are struggling with basic reading and writing, along with math. My job is to feed their brains with a wealth of knowledge and nurture their souls with care and understanding. My resources are limited and I'm looking for avenues to better the situations within the classroom. I need books that are on and below grade level, as some of my students struggle to master the grade level content.. Manipulative's are needed to help them understand math in simple forms and other materials that make learning simple, but productive.
