In our classroom, students see their work, and the work of their peers projected regularly to help each other grow. We use a document camera to project worksheets and class assignments so that we can walk through any misunderstandings together. We project read alongs and watch educational videos to further our thinking. While we use a projector every day, it is often very challenging for my students to see what is being projected as we use our whiteboard. The whiteboard is often dirty or covered in work, and the projection extends beyond the whiteboard and on to the wall, making it almost impossible to see the top foot of what we are viewing. Your generous donation to our project will improve our First Grade classroom by easing the access to projects, worksheets, and media used every day by my students. This project will allow my students to focus on the content presented, rather than the quality of the presentation. It will ask them to continue discovering new materials and resources available to them.
