I need a place where my students can come together for morning meeting, teacher read-alouds, phonics time, and phonemic awareness time. In order to make the "Rug for Reading and Meeting" a reality, I hope to begin by acquiring a rug and some class sets of beginner's books to supplement the books that I already have. I hope to build the classroom library little by little, adding more books and shelving as opportunities for making additions are presented. Your donation will allow me to package these proven successful, research-based strategies and techniques into a fun centralized area where my students can thrive and improve their reading fluency and comprehension.

About my class
