Greetings!! I am a Teacher of Special Education/Inclusion in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, in the Bilingual (English/Spanish) program. I teach both English Language Arts (ELA) and Math to a total of 18 inquisitive, hardworking and charismatic scholars! Each of these scholars is an English Language Learner (ELL) and has one or more special needs, and it is my job (and joy) to work alongside the classroom teacher in co-teaching reading, writing, and math, providing accommodations and removing any barriers to my students learning and mastering grade-level curriculum. We learn and teach together in an inclusive setting. It can get loud and it can get messy, but we find a way to get it done with Respect, Integrity, Diligence, Generosity and Effort (Our RIDGE Street School motto!! :).
