My students are of various races and economic backgrounds and all live in Washington DC. Many of the students in my class are special needs students or at risk. We work in large groups small groups using manipulatives to help us learn math. We are a Spanish language immersion program and all math is taught in Spanish. Our school is rich in diversity and we honor differences, especially culturally and linguistically.
