The students at my school ask for more intramurals and clubs. I did a poll to see what kinds of clubs they wanted, and the results were sports and exercise. The equipment that I have is either very old or outdated. I need yoga mats to start the fitness club and the balls & goals for athletic club. In order to run a successful after school extracurricular athletic/fitness club, you need more than outdoor space and a willing individual; a successful athletic/fitness club also has the appropriate equipment needed to provide a variety of activities that can include as many students as possible. The after school PE Club will be a place where students can learn about and participate in sports games and fitness activities while outdoors. Participants will not only enhance gross motor and athletic skills, but will also learn teamwork and sportsmanship.
