One day a student came to class and shared that she saw these "really cool" chairs in her mom's classroom. When talking to her mom, she learned that the chairs were called Hokki Chairs. This generated a lot of interest with my class. We did some research and learned more about these special chairs. My 4th graders said they would LOVE to have chairs like that! Many students shared that it is difficult to sit in traditional desks. The Hokki Chairs would allow students to release extra energy during lessons while also strengthening their core. The chairs would enable students to get 60 minutes of physical exercise.
