I have six and seven year old students that like to move around! We are actually rarely at our desks and do a lot of small and large group instruction at our favorite place- THE CARPET! Unfortunately, my 12 years in the classroom has taken a toll on my old rugs. My students need a nice and comfortable rug where they can plop down and LEARN while not focusing on the discomfort of sitting on tile. The carpet will brighten the room as well and create a common meeting place that fosters classroom community and overall comfort! We are SO excited to use our new carpet!
