My students will be able to work in small groups to experience math and science through hands-on activities. They will be able to see how matter and geology work in real life rather than read about them in a book. They will be able to use fraction circles to help them understand equivalent fractions. My English language learners will have concrete materials to use to help them grasp the idea of place value and decimals. Science will become more applicable to real life with small experiments and activities that demonstrate how electricity and magnetism work. How can a student understand the power of magnetism without testing it with real magnets?
