I want to instill in my students a love of learning and a love of reading. Many of my students come from low-income homes where they have very little exposure to any type of reading materials. By donating to this project you will play a key roll in helping to develop the love of reading and learning in my students. With this project I will be able to provide my students will a wide variety of books as well as a safe and comfortable spot to enjoy those books. What's better than sitting in a comfy chair or spot and being able to read and enjoy a good book. This center will be used daily during our literacy stations time. Students will be offered the chance to rotate through the center and have read to self and read to a buddy time. By having these books available, my students will also have the opportunity to take books home and share them with their families.
