We are currently ham-strung without having functioning technology in our classroom. We had a set of netbooks, but they've died a slow, agonizing death. There are so many occasions when, in the middle of a lesson, I'll think, "I wish I could unleash this curious, engaged class to research this topic on their own, whether individually or in cooperative groups, making the learning both more authentic and more memorable." This technology would open up the world and its fascinating past to our imaginative and tech-savvy students. It would be, to put it concisely, a dream come true for some truly deserving artists/students.

About my class
