I teach a great group of students who are eager to learn, despite their high risk surroundings. Our school serves a low income area which more often than not involves gang related activities, exposure to poverty, and a lack of resources. Our students work hard and as I grow with them, I seek more and more ways to incorporate tools, experiences, and resources for more innovative learning. Donor's Choose provides opportunity for our special population of learners that might not have been achievable otherwise. With your support, we are able to create a highly engaging learning atmosphere so that our students become active agents in society.
