Every year, some of my students struggle and/or are unable to purchase the required school supplies. I am requesting folders with pockets, pencils, a pencil sharpener and storage chair pockets to help students get back to school a little more easily. Sometimes parents send notes to school, expressing their inability to purchase items due to a financial crisis. How difficult it must be for a parent to write such a note. Many of these students and their families are considered homeless or in a temporary housing transition/crisis. Back to school time can be very stressful; please help me meet my students' needs. I would be so very grateful for your support and kindness. Your donation will help a student feel more secure and prepared for school. It will help me to make positive connections with this very vulnerable population. Thank you so much for considering our project.
