These supplies will allow my students to get hands on experience with science concepts. The BioDegradable kit will allow my students to have a first hand account of what happens to their trash. Having an experience like this could change the way my students treat and think about the earth. These supplies will help my students make connections with science concepts and how they related to the world around them. All of the kits and supplies will help the students think more critically about how the science concepts. Hands on experiences allow students to become more engaged and to gain a deeper understanding. If students are able to do this with a concept such as the water cycle, then they might possibly be able to create new solutions polluted water.
