My students are one of a kind. This year I was blessed to have a great group of little ones. Their kind hearts, and eager minds are the best part of them. My students come from all different types of family dynamics but in my classroom we are all equal and we treat each other like family. In my classroom I make sure that the children always feel safe and accepted. I teach them the importance of compassion and empathy and teach them also how to use their voices to express their feelings and not be afraid. My students are mostly Latino and come from low income families with non English speaking parents. Most of my students have never been exposed to any kind of schooling and sometimes come with only their home language. They deserve it all Miss Lopez My students are resilient and bright. My classroom becomes their second home and I'm happy I'm able to give them a safe place to learn, grow, make friends, and succeed!
