In my classroom there is no technology center for my students. Yes, we have a smart board but that is it. I would like for my students to have an area where they can go to learn using technology. Our world is growing with technology and what better way to prepare them than with technology, like tablets. Some kids do not have this in their homes. It causes a gap in development for students who does not experience technology. Also, students can grow in ways that I cannot touch. Students gain independence and take control of their learning when they can have it at their hands.
