When it comes to active engagement, nothing beats a classroom dry erase board. White boards would allow us to work on vocabulary daily and provide a great hands-on approach. I envision a classroom where I start a small group instruction and students picking up their whiteboards and markers to get actively involved in the discussion and learning. My students are very hands-on learners and I believe that having these materials would help them to be more engaged in the lessons and class discussions. Having a class set of whiteboards would provide my students with another tool for classroom discussion and activities. I am also requesting a Learning To Sequence Set. The set will teach students the required skills for telling a story.
