My students need Chromebooks to conduct research and present projects. As fifth graders, my students do much of their schoolwork through their Google Drive accounts. They start with the basics and learn how to create documents. From there we start creating slideshow presentations and websites. They use these platforms for writing and publishing, researching inquiry based projects, creating presentations to share with classmates, and creating and updating websites that groups use to track and present projects. Students who have access to Chromebooks in my classroom learn to type reports, conduct effective internet research, and create engaging presentations to share with others. With the addition of Chromebooks to my classroom, students will have many more opportunities to practice learning and using these valuable skills.
