My students are in desperate need of high interest, leveled readers, construction paper and clipboards, as well as outdoor activities such as a bean bag toss game. I work in a low-income school where the majority of children are on free or reduced price lunch. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and would impact my students learning as well as motivation and morale. The donations that I ask for will impact a classroom of children eager to learn and struggling to defy the odds stacked against them. Last year I didn't have enough books for each student to hold one and I'm desperately trying to change that so they can choose different books that interest them and encourage a love of reading.
