Last year we began an adventure with flexible seating. Our school PTA was generous enough to donate some funds to help us buy rugs and bean bags for our classroom. The students' reaction was beyond amazing! Students who typically come to classroom unmotivated to learn came in with a whole new attitude. Students have used these resources to read, study, collaborate and take notes. Students of all different backgrounds and learning styles were able to use flexible seating to become more engaged in their own education. We would like to continue on that journey for this upcoming school year by providing the students with even more seating options. By providing the students with larger, shared desks the students can work collaboratively with one another in a more relaxed setting.
